a culinary prodigy emerged from the depths of the kitchen. His name? Jatinder Kumar Malhotra, or as we call him, Jackie. With his extraordinary palate, natural charm, and culinary wizardry, he quickly became a legend within our ranks.
Jackie joined our team as a line cook at one of our onsite restaurants.
One day, he had an opportunity to show off his talents. Picture this: a sales activation amidst a pandemic, where spirits and taste buds yearned for excitement. Enter Jackie and his culinary masterpieces. He whipped up a crispy Cauliflower 65 with cauli florets coated in a spicy batter, deep-fried, and finished with a toss in a tangy-spicy-tamarind sauce. Our "now client" declared Jackie's Cauliflower 65 as the coveted "Bite of the Day."
With this win...
...and his legendary oozing "Butter Chicken Bomb" by his side, he officially became a Good Eating Company rockstar. We're talking culinary superstardom, people!
Chef Jackie's meteoric rise didn't stop there.
The title of Executive Chef was bestowed upon him, and Chef Jackie is now our Bay Area Indian food specialist and serves as an ambassador of authentic flavors. He's garnered quite the fan club at every site he visits, leaving taste buds in awe and stomachs grumbling for more. Chef Jackie's eyes light up with delight when asked about his favorite dish to whip up, "Aloo paratha," he shares enthusiastically, a flaky flatbread stuffed with potatoes and spices. A popular breakfast food in India, they can also be enjoyed as a snack or light meal.
